Earning Through Twitter?
How to earn?
I always see people posting junk links in the twitter.
A lot people said these people are actually spamming and earn using twitter.
But since it is not like normal advertisement ads script,
and not using any java script at all, how the advertisement track how much these people earn and pay them?
Can someone tell me how these twitter advertisement company do the clicks tracking?
Coz it really looks weird to me, it is some how like some scam programs.
i use churp churp and earn a little so far..
i dont think it depends on the clicks, but it’s the number of followers one have.. =)
so it means even if no 1 click the link, the earning is also the same?
@KatieKitty: they can track clicks, views, etc. through the URL posted, for example http://bit.ly/8y1fMS
the bit.ly website is URL shortening service with statistics report regarding how your link, how many times is it retweeted, etc.
advertisers might have their own internal tracking methods too, through their servers. yea seems like churpchurp pays per tweet, other network I tried also pay per impression (of a page/site) and per purchase/conversion/opt in.
lastly, advertising may seems like spam to some while others may thank us for bringing to their attention a product/service that they truly want. just be moderate when doing it, don’t be too pushy and don’t spam the hell out of your twitter (otherwise your followers will stop following you).
